One of the core functions of the Atlanta Business League is keeping its members informed of new business opportunities and trends. Sixteen years ago, the ABL created the Congress on the State of Black Business in Metro Atlanta as a means of sharing business opportunities with its members.
During the Congress, we review key business opportunities that are available in Atlanta. Our goal is to provide attendees with an understanding of these opportunities, access to representatives from various organizations, as well as funding, including debt-to-equity.
Diverse businesses representing the Atlanta and metropolitan areas will gather to understand the dynamics of doing business within various industries, hear about upcoming projects and business opportunities, and network with leadership and prime contractors. The Congress will focus on specific contracting opportunities, successful partnerships, and increasing representation within the Film, Healthcare, and Real Estate industries with an emphasis on Grants & Contracts as well as General Contracting.
We will review current billion-dollar mega projects underway in metro Atlanta, as well as discuss opportunities available as part of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act as approved by the US Congress in 2022. The event includes mainstage panel discussions, and interactive Q&As while also offering access to various business resources and speed networking.
