Daryll Harris Griffin, a native Atlantan, is President of Accolades, Inc., a marketing firm she founded in 1990. A former corporate executive and educator, she holds a Bachelor’s degree from Stephens College, a M.ED. and Reading Specialists Certification from Washington University. She completed further studies at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Business at and at Dartmouth University’s Amos Tuck School of Business.
While building her firm, Daryll served the business community as past Chair and Secretary of the Atlanta Business League’s Board of Directors. She also served as ABL’s Co-Chair of Super Tuesday, Vice Chair of the Education committee, and Co-Chair of the CEO Luncheon. She was inducted into the ABL’s Hall of Fame and is recipient of the ABL’s League Leadership Award.
Daryll’s service with Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School includes the Board of Trustees, Headmaster Search Committee, and Scholarship Foundation’s Board of Governors. She is currently Vice-Chair of the YWCA of Greater Atlanta’s Board, and Trustee and Board Secretary at Stephens College. Daryll has also served as a Mentor in Spelman College’s Coca-Cola Mentoring Program as well as a Mentor in the Stephens College Full Circle Mentoring program.
Daryll is involved with the Georgia Minority Supplier Development Council, Callanwolde Arts Center Foundation, Wheat Street Charitable Foundation, Wheat Street Baptist Church, and NSAC Jack and Jill of America, Inc. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Leadership Atlanta, 2001, The Links, Incorporated, and Koinonia Ministry (Salem Baptist Church). Daryll is the recipient of the volunteer award from the M.L. King Center for Nonviolent Social Change and the Atlanta Braves Jackie Robinson Diverse Business Partner Award.
