Volunteering as an ABL General Volunteer is a great way to give back to the community and meet a variety of people from all walks of life. You can see behind the scenes of events, get closer to the action, and play an important role in making amazing events possible.
Responsible for cheerfully welcoming guests to general activities and providing directional assistance to the pre-function space, ballroom, or facilities as necessary.
Responsible for check in of guests as they arrive.
Responsible for assisting guests with processing and completing membership and/or silent auction transactions.
Responsible for assisting with set up and monitoring of the silent auction area. Assist guest with bidding inquiries. Process transactions and package winning items for guests as necessary.
Responsible for assisting with guest table preparation to include placement of guest bags, event programs, table tent cards, table numbers, signage etc.
Responsible for assisting Production Team when/as necessary with audio visual activities, staging set up, queuing, prompting and lining up program participants.
Responsible for ushering and flagging guests to event venue entrance. Provide directional support to guests as necessary.
Responsible for stuffing marketing materials/content in guest bags for distribution.
Responsible for retrieving and packing up all Atlanta Business League materials for transport to include signage, program, and registration materials etc.
