Paschal’s Restaurant

The year was 1947 When James and Robert Paschal entered the restaurant business at 837 West Hunter Street. For more than a decade blacks and whites eagerly crowded into the night club, often sharing tables. In 1967, Paschals’ Motor opened featuring one hundred-twenty lavishly furnished rooms, meeting rooms, dining spaces, and swimming pool. The complex was not only unique to Atlanta, but to the nation.
