Rodney K. Strong is the Chairman of Griffin & Strong, P.C., a law and public policy consulting firm. He is currently the project principal for public policy consulting engagements with several state and local governmental entities.
A member of the State Bar of Georgia, he represents a range of public entity and corporate clients, specializing in public contract, community development and real estate law. In addition to his law practice, he also serves as the general counsel for the Fulton County/City of Atlanta Land Bank Authority. He is currently the supplier diversity consultant for the Mercedes-Benz Stadium, being constructed in Atlanta, GA
He is widely considered one of the foremost national experts in the area of procurement disparity research and supplier diversity program development. His experience in these areas began in 1985 when then Mayor Andrew Young appointed him Director of Contract Compliance for the City of Atlanta, Georgia, a position he held until 1992.
He is a graduate of the University of Memphis, Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law, where he was a Herbert Herff Presidential Law Scholar. He received his undergraduate degree in Political Science from Morehouse College.
